The Charcuterie & Chocolate Company:  Our Story

The inspiration for my business comes from my deep passions for Love and Art.

My journey began with a childhood love for chocolate-covered fruits. When I was young, my parents had an unused fondue pot, so I decided to experiment with it. At 16, I made my first batch of chocolate-dipped strawberries. Fast forward to 2013, I had to create and execute a business plan for a university project, which led to the birth of Chocolate Expressions. Initially a side hobby, it became an established business in 2021 and was renamed The Charcuterie & Chocolate Company to better reflect our diverse range of products. Today, we create unforgettable experiences and delight our clients with our offerings.

The idea for charcuterie emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic. With restaurants closed, I wanted to surprise my husband with a special treat, so I created an appetizer to pair with dinner. After posting a picture of my setup on social media, a client requested something similar for a spa day with her friend. That first delivery and social media post sparked the rapid growth of our charcuterie offerings.

My passion for wine began when a friend gifted me a bottle of Moscato D'Asti. I fell in love with it and was inspired to learn everything about wine, eventually becoming certified to teach wine tasting and wine appreciation.

I am a wife, mom of two, full-time accountant, and serial entrepreneur. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, helping others, and shopping.

**A Day in My Life**

My days start early with preparations for the day's orders. I juggle social media management, send invoices for custom and corporate orders, book deliveries, schedule pickups, reply to emails, help with homework, prepare dinner, and chase after my three-year-old. On top of all this, I work full-time as an accountant. It's a busy life, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
